The center marking tool is mounted on the movable jaw of the stamping unit above the stamping jaw. With the center marking tool mounted, the raw material is simultaneously provided with a small indentation above to the stamping contour. This facilitates the exact central insertion of the workpiece blanks in the 5-axis vise, on whose scaled clamping jaws the “0” marking indicates the center. End stops are thus barely needed any more.
