The automation gripper of the RoboTrex Compact automation system transports Makro•Grip® 77 5-axis vises from the storage magazine into the machine tool and stores them again after machining. The maximum workpiece weight that can be clamped in the vise is 7 kg. The automation gripper opens the zero point clamping system in the machine tool pneumatically via an integrated interface. This happens both when the vises are set down before machining and when the clamps are picked up after the machining cycle is complete. In this way, the entire process is carried out automatically and efficiently.
